Overview
Diabetes is a chronic disease that occurs either when the pancreas does not produce enough insulin or when the body cannot effectively use the insulin it produces. Insulin is a hormone that regulates blood sugar. Raised blood sugar is a common effect of uncontrolled diabetes and over time leads to serious damage to many of the body’s systems, especially the nerves and blood vessels (WHO 2022).
Key facts
- According to the World Health Organisation, the number of people with diabetes rose from 108 million in 1980 to 422 million in 2014. Prevalence has been rising more rapidly in low- and middle-income countries than in high-income countries (WHO 2022).
- Diabetes is a major cause of blindness, kidney failure, heart attacks, stroke and lower limb amputation.
- In 2019, diabetes was the ninth leading cause of death with an estimated 1.5 million deaths directly caused by diabetes (WHO 2022).
Health impact
Over time, diabetes can damage the heart, blood vessels, eyes, kidneys, and nerves.
- Blindness.
- Kidney failure.
- Increased risk of heart attacks and strokes.
- Neuropathy (nerve damage) and reduced blood flow in the feet increases the chance of foot ulcers, infection and eventual need for limb amputation.
How Kiseki Gallant can help
Kiseki Gallant is a postbiotic drink with a special dedicated formulation that increases insulin sensitivity of our cells for glucose uptake and reduces inflammation to better manage complications arising from high blood glucose levels.
Our postbiotics can stimulate growth of your gut’s native beneficial probiotics resulting in a rich and diverse gut microbiome, optimizing your immune system. The low molecular weight and high bioavailability of our postbiotics derived from plant-based extracts are instrumental in delivering proven benefits.
Consumers of Kiseki Gallant have reported a reduction in their blood sugar levels or experienced better energy levels after consuming 25ml twice daily for as fast as 5 days.
Customer A’s experience:
Customer A started taking 2 tablets 800mg of Jardiance Duo when her 8 hours fasting blood glucose reading is around 10mmol/L. She had to resort to 30 units of Ryzodeg (insulin) twice a day when her blood glucose level is not under controlled.
After a month of Kiseki Gallant (twice daily), her blood glucose test result improved to 5mmol/L. From then onwards, she has reduced her insulin injection.
Side effects such as hearing impairment, hypoglycemia (dizziness and cold sweats) went away as well.
Customer B’s experience:
Customer B has borderline high blood glucose (around 7.5 fasting blood glucose) and borderline hypertension (140/100). He takes 5 types of medications daily.
After 4 months of taking Kiseki Gallant, his blood glucose level has dropped gradually, and his doctor has reduced his medication (for blood glucose and blood pressure) accordingly. Now, without any medication, his fasting blood sugar level hovers around 6.8, and his blood pressure is 130/90.
